Terms and Conditions

• It is your responsibility to provide your driving instructor with proof that you have a valid licence to drive before the commencement of your first driving lesson. If you fail to provide this proof, your instructor is entitled to refuse to conduct the driving lesson but may still charge you for such driving lesson. 
•  We advise all clients to speak with us by email or telephone communication 'before' making an online payment. 
• We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked or cancellation driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic. 
• You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing such matter as the timing, location and duration of driving lessons. 
• You must notify your instructor of any matters existing at any time that may affect your ability or entitlement to have driving lessons, for example, but not limited to, any lack, or loss, of a valid driving licence. 
• You must disclose any medical conditions that may be relevant or impact your ability to drive and inform your driving instructor of any changes to your health. 
• Your instructor cannot guarantee that they will be available each time you choose to request a driving lesson. 
• Lessons will be conveyed verbally in detail before making any lesson bookings. Online payments for gift vouchers/ bulk purchases expire after 6 months but a request can be made to extend this, this is at the instructor’s discretion. 
•  Please telephone or email our Driving School if you have not received a response from us, or if for any reason we have not been able to make contact with you within 5 working days of making your online payment. 
• Payment is required at least 48hours in advance direct to the instructor. 
• At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel pre-booked driving lesson, after this time you will be required to pay for lesson, after 3 late notice cancellations the instructor has the right to discontinue their services to you. 
• Bulk purchases are non-refundable and non-transferrable. 
• You will be given 28 days’ notice if there is to be any changes to our pricing structure. 
• Before booking a practical Driving Test, an ADI reference number will be supplied to confirm the readiness of the student driver’s ability for test and for use of the Driving School vehicles. 
• The driving instructor can refuse the use of their car for a driving test if they believe that the learner driver is not to the high standard required to take the test. 
• The instructor cannot be held responsible for any mechanical failures or breakdowns during the driving test.
• The instructor will charge a flat rate of £120 in the day of your driving test. 

Lesson Payments

Lesson payments must be made at least 24 hours in advance or on the day of your lesson.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or other approved payment methods.

Block Booking & Instructor Offers

Fennelly’s Driving School does not officially offer bulk lesson deals or discounted block booking packages.

If an individual instructor chooses to offer a discounted package, block booking, or special offer, this arrangement is solely between the pupil and the instructor.

Fennelly’s Driving School accepts no responsibility for any disputes, refunds, disagreements, or issues relating to instructor-offered discounts or block bookings.

Any concerns regarding these arrangements must be dealt with directly with the instructor involved.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.

Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

If a pupil does not attend a scheduled lesson without notice, the full lesson fee will be charged.

Instructor Cancellations

If an instructor needs to cancel a lesson, an alternative appointment will be arranged as soon as possible.

Any lesson cancelled by Fennelly’s Driving School will not be charged.

Refund Policy

Refunds for unused lesson credit will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Any completed lessons will be charged at the standard hourly rate before calculating refunds.

Refunds may take up to 7 working days to process.

Driving Test Use

Full payment for driving test hire and accompanying lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advance or on the day of the test.

If a driving test is cancelled by the DVSA, lesson credit will remain on the pupil’s account.

Use of the instructor’s vehicle for test day is at the instructor’s discretion.

Late Arrivals

If a pupil arrives late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time.

If the instructor is late, extra time will be added where possible.

Outstanding Payments

Fennelly’s Driving School reserves the right to suspend lessons where payments are overdue.

Agreement

By booking lessons with Fennelly’s Driving School, pupils agree to the terms set out in this payment policy.
